Anyone should be able to open your site — no login, no "coming soon."
When Meta's reviewer clicks your website link, it needs to open right away — just like any normal website you'd visit. Nothing should block them from seeing it.
Your exact registered business name has to appear somewhere on the site.
Your business has an official registered name — the one on your GST certificate or incorporation papers. That exact name needs to appear on your website, word for word, usually in the footer, About page, or Contact page.
If your brand name differs from your legal name, the site must connect the two.
If the name you want on WhatsApp (like "Reelo") is different from your full legal name (like "Reelo Solutions Pvt. Ltd."), your website has to show that these two names belong to the same business. This is the single most common reason approvals get rejected.
Your brand name should look exactly the same everywhere.
Computers treat "Coffee King", "CoffeeKing", and "coffee king" as three different names. Your website needs to spell your brand name exactly the way you're requesting it on WhatsApp — same capital letters, same spacing.
A real phone number, email, or contact form a customer could actually use.
Meta wants proof a real customer could actually reach your business — a phone number, email address, or contact form that genuinely works, ideally matching the details you submitted for verification.
If you're requesting a specific script, the site content should match it.
If you're asking for your WhatsApp display name in a specific script — like Hindi or Tamil — the main content on your website should be in that same language, not just English.
A few things the checker flags but can't fully judge for you — quick to eyeball before you submit.
Legal name doesn't match the GST/incorporation document — typos, an old entity name, or a franchise name used instead of the legal name.
Generic or location-only display name — names like "Bakery" or "Mumbai Store" aren't distinctive to one business, so Meta rejects them.
No mention of the brand/display name anywhere — Meta can't establish the relationship between your legal name and the name you're requesting.
Site under construction or broken — or it's only a social-media bio-link page instead of an actual website.
Restricted words in the display name — "Official," "Verified," or any Meta product name (WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger).
